20 Annecy
20 Annecy

We’ve been making a circuit around France, starting from Paris and going counter clockwise. After leaving the Riviera and going north toward Geneva, Switzerland, we come to the town of Annecy, on a lake by the same name. The old center of the town has canals that come in from the lake and make for very nice pictures! The mountain in the background is among the foothills of the Alps. There is an arboretum called “Jardin de l’Europe” on the shores of the lake, and a Chateau overlooking the town and the lake with views of the Alps. Simple tip: worth a visit!
