This ubiquitously photographed church in Thira is hard to find. You may need to ask directions. After I found it, I walked out the back way, away from the rim, and encountered some Japanese tourists who looked lost and were obviously looking for it. I gave them directions, and when they saw it, they were delighted and thanked me profusely, complete with bows :-)
